Deb Petersen-Brand is a myomassologist who specializes in the use of Muscle Mechanics to address the underlying issue of pain and discomfort. She is skilled in pain management and improving the quality of life for her patients. Deb is a 2011 graduate of Irene’s Myomassology Institute. She is nationally certified and holds a state license for the State of Michigan. She is a member in good standing of ABMP (American bodywork & massage Professionals). Her coursework included Cranio-Sacral, Lymphatic Drainage, Myofasical Release (MFR), Trigger Point Therapy, Reflexology, Pressure Points, Joint Mobilization, Sports – Massage/Therapeutic Stretching, Muscle Mechanics and Muscle Testing. She is a Level 2 Reiki Healer. In addition to regular coursework Deb has pursued certification through Beaumont in Oncology Massage. She is also certified in Joint Mobilization therapy and works with Kinesiology Tape to assist in healing. She uses a combination of modalities and techniques as a “tool box” to develop a custom treatment combination to achieve maximum results for her patients. Deb believes that education is the key to continued health. She teaches hands-on classes, bones and muscles, the foundations of homeostasis (balance) and Transforming Grief & Vibrational Healing at Irene’s Myomassology Institute.
